Kootenai County Fire & Rescue’s (KCFR) EMS division is a full service EMS provider including: first responses as well as ambulance transport within our Fire District and EMS transport within Kootenai County as part of the Kootenai County Emergency Medical Services System. KCFR provides both basic life support (EMT/EMT-I) and advanced life support service (Paramedics) to its citizens 24/7. These services are provided by career staff.
The EMS Division strives to provide the highest level of services possible to the citizens of Kootenai County.
